Joey and Sonja Foster

met in college while at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee FL. After marrying and moving to South Florida, Joey’s hometown, they began serving in ministry together in various capacities such as Youth Pastors, worship leaders, outreach directors as well as itinerate teachers. Little did they know their serving was a set up for God to do something fresh in their lives. In 2015 Joey, Sonja and their 2 amazing kinds Kiersten and Jace founded The Fresh Church in Hollywood Florida. The Fosters have developed a breathtaking ministry model that consists of outreach and in reach. Their model of marriage and ministry is what causes many people to seek them out for marriage and relationship counseling and coaching. Sonja holds a degree in Psychology from Florida A&M University and Pastor Joey a degree in Biblical Studies from South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary. The Fosters believe that a life in Christ is not only fulfilling, it’s fun. They enjoy traveling, fitness and great food
